It sort of feels like we are starting this new year playing catch up – isn’t that just life though? Anyway, here’s a gem of a wedding from last fall that we really wanted to share. Katie & Mitch chose her parent’s backyard as the backdrop for their intimate Niagara wedding. And why wouldn’t you with a stunning deck that overhangs right into the Rockway Glen woods. Their home is nestled in the heart of Niagara between St. Catharines and Fonthill. We think of this wedding and the look of this couple as classic. Katie wore Vera Wang, the officiant was none other than Neil Boron the host of WDCX‘s radio program Lifeline, the florals by BBBlooms were elegant and they chose to cater their dinner through the Lake House Restaurant, where Mitch is on staff as head chef. Katie also shared a special “first look” with her dad just before the ceremony – a thoughtful and special moment for them. And of course, we know that there is always someone behind the scenes, pulling everything together… so we want to give a big shout out to Deborah Beattie of Ephiphany Events & Designs and her crew for the fantastic job they did!
The warm, windy day is making us long for summer and the kickoff of another wedding season. Until then, this stunner will hopefully tide you over!
You are loved!
